My Project

My students have been impacted by COVID in so many ways. Their development, behavior, mental health, nutrition, & attendance are among the things that were most impacted.

Help me create a fun, loving, safe, classroom environment so my students will look forward to coming to school every day!

COVID was not a good experience in general, but for kids it was even worse. In my teaching career, I've had students come to school hungry, moody, & exhausted. These students are the ones that were impacted the most by COVID. These are the kids that were forced to stay home in a bad environment, trying to teach themselves because their parents were either at work or just didn't care to help them. Until their basic needs are met, students will NOT be able to learn!

My goal for this school year is to create a classroom where my students feel loved, safe, and understood. I want them to have food when they are hungry and be able to express themselves in a positive way. I just want them to be happy, have fun, make memories, and SUCCEED!! By donating to my classroom you will help me reach my goal of putting my students and their needs above anything else! You will help me supply snacks for the kids that come in hungry, books to help them work through their problems and behaviors, incentives to keep them motivated and eager to learn, and so much more! Please consider helping me reach my goal for my kiddos!
