Our Amazing Bones!

My students need a human body fabric chart, skeleton floor puzzle, broken bones x-rays, human skeletal system flash cards, a lifesize human skeleton poster, and the human body 3D flip book.

This project is fully funded

My students want to know all about their bones and why they are important. I teach 22 fabulous 3rd graders in high a poverty school. They lack the resources to be able to learn about science through books, computer and field trips because of their poverty.

My science curriculum is limited to worksheets and some posters but it lacks the ability to grab my students attention for very long. They are very curious about their bodies and want to learn all they can. Many of them have had broken bones but don't really know what that means.

These resources will allow me to teach the major bones, show real x-rays of broken bones and bone joints, and let kids learn how the skeletal system goes together through several life like skeletal activities and show real pictures through different fact cards and a card game.

You will make it possible for my students to explore life science in a meaningful and exciting learning environment. Who knows - one of them might just be inspired to become a Dr.!
