This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are kind hearted children, they have been through some rough times with covid, lost family members yet they come to school to better themselves every day. There are students that lack the essentials at home, such as lotion, or lip balm, or bandages. I have always been driven to provide a safe place where my students feel comfortable enough to ask for things they may need such as lip balm, or mask, or hair ties. You will find how many of them if they see someone ask for a bandage how many of them ask for one too and I believe is because they want to feel loved, taken care of, and if I can provide minimal stuff such as wipes for their sweat or lip balms for their lips, and bandages it will help alleviate some of the cost that comes with making sure our classroom is well equipped.
