This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Othello is a timeless story that just gets more and more relevant with each passing year. Who is one of the greater literary villains of all time? Iago! Who shows that love is love? Shakespeare! Our students will love exploring Othello and all of the remarkable themes this great text brings to the forefront of their minds.

Othello, and the graphic novel, will open our students' minds to a whole new world where love and villainy make them truly appreciate everything life, and reading, has to offer.

Our socratic seminars and written pieces based on this book will broaden their vocabulary and their ability to analyze, and discuss, a text not just now, but in college and life after college as well.
