This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school-based occupational therapist, I work with students across all grade levels including preschool-5th grade. Many of the students who I work with have difficulties with various motor skills and sensory processing skills.

My pre-k students would benefit from having access to a doodle mat, balls, writing tablets, pencils grips, sensory board, animal cars, pencils weights, and timer.

These items will help promote gross motor and fine motor skills while meeting my students sensory needs. The busy boards include zippers, shoelaces, buttons, belt buckles, and puzzles that will help my students develop fine motor skills, dressing skills, and finger dexterity.
