I have a very active group of first graders who love to do anything and everything that is hands on or has to do with technology. Their desire to learn will melt your heart. They work well together and always strive to do their best.
My students love for technology has certainly grown this year.
Since the school I work in is Title I you can imagine that many of my students do not have their own devices at home. Therefore, anytime they have the chance to work on the I-pads or code with Dash and Dot they burst with excitement. Through technology and many other hands on learning experiences, my students have shown much growth throughout the year. I am so proud of them and can't wait to see how much they grow between now and the end of the year.
My Project
My students love nothing more than to explore with technology. We recently started learning how to code and my students have fallen in love. Adding another Dash to our classroom will allow for more students to code and complete math activities at a time.
By adding Osmos to our classroom my students opportunities to learn through technology will be enhanced.
My students will be able to use the Osmos in both literacy and math stations. The students will have opportunities to work with the Osmos in both literacy and math stations. The students will work together to problem solve and learn how to collaborate with one another all while working with the Osmos and Dash.
I can't wait to watch them grow and develop an even stronger passion for technology and learning.
