This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have created a new Outdoor Recreation class for our PE Department. In this class, we are teaching students skills that go beyond a typical physical education class that will include lifelong learning skills for high school and beyond. One of the subjects will include orienteering--using compasses and maps to move from one point to another.
We need compasses to be able to do our orienteering lessons.
With your help, this project can help us solve the problem of getting compasses in order to teach the lessons and learn how to do this skill.
