it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hard working and optimistic about the future. Our school strives to promote and cultivate a college-ready mindset in every student because only a quarter of my students report having a family member attend college.
If you ask my students what motivates them to succeed, they would talk about their family.
Despite facing many challenges, my students come to school ready to learn and be their best in order to make themselves, their family, and their community proud. Every day I am humbled that I get to be their teacher because they recognize the power of education.
My Project
Our class needs 15 computer mice so that every student will be able to easily navigate online. In order to stay organized, each mice and a pair of headphones will be placed in the pencil pouch with a zipper; this way each student can be assigned a set of technology accessories and keep the wires organized.
Students really appreciate an organized, purposeful, and colorful classroom.
The red storage bins will be the perfect way to hold all the pencil cases so that the classroom stays neat and orderly. Lastly, the Popsicle sticks will be used during class discussions to randomly call on students to participate. These Popsicle sticks will last for years!
