This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are so excited to visit our classroom store every week. This project is to purchase baskets and a dispenser to be used to organize treats in our classroom store. The baskets will be used to store snacks and prizes. The straw dispenser will be used to store fun pencils.
Throughout the day, students will earn "money" for using good character traits, such as responsibility and kindness.
This will encourage students to become better citizens in our classroom community. There are many lessons that will be learned. In addition, to being a good citizen, students will learn about our classroom economy. Students will be able to count their "money" and then decide to save it in their bank accounts or spend it at the class store.
