Although I am a seasoned educator, this will only be my second year serving as a Gifted and Talented Resource Teacher for students ranging from 1st through 5th grade.
I am a firm believer in Gifted Education and STEAM.
I want to provide my students with a variety of hands-on science and technology.
I serve two very different sites. One site is fully stocked with great supplies for my students. Unfortunately, the other is severely lacking, so supplying my schools with the materials they need is a must!
My students come from many different cultures and many diverse backgrounds. 3/4 of my students are minority, and 3/4 of my students qualify for the free and reduced-price lunch program. Even though my students may struggle for basic necessities at home, it is my wish that my classroom is always fully stocked and ready for our learning experiences.
My Project
Now that we have a WONDERFUL collection of OSMO games and technology, we need a better system for organizing our collection. An organized classroom is an efficient classroom. Help me give my students these tools for success!
We would like to have one more OSMO Pizza Co Math Game and a collection of durable (and stackable) plastic containers for storing and transporting our OSMO games.
These containers will assure that no pieces are lost and that everything has a proper home. Teaching my students responsibility starts with an easy system. These containers will not only serve us this year, but for many years in the future.
