Organizing Literacy Work Stations

My students need 4 Classroom Schedule Pocket Charts and 2-30 foot rolls of Velcro.

I am a full day Kindergarten teacher who recently read a book about Literacy Work Stations. I liked this book because it helped me to meet the needs of many of my struggling students at many different levels.

In order to implement the Work Stations I created a chart so my students were able to see what Station they are to visit for that day. To get it going at the beginning of the year, I used a long pocket chart on a bulky rolling pocket chart stand. It works just fine, except my children and I are constantly tripping over the feet that stick out, and bump into it causing the cards in the chart to fall out! The other problem is that we have to store the chart in one location that is more out of the way and then roll it across the classroom each day so that the students can see it, and then when we are done, roll it back to it's home.

I would like to have these pocket charts and the Velcro to mount them with so that I could put them on the wall where they are easily visible by all and are not in the way. I have one wall of very large cabinets and these charts would fit perfectly on them allowing the pocket chart stand to find another home in an out of the way place and allow me to change the Stations with out fear of anyone bumping into them.
