My Project

Kindergarten students must transition multiple times every day in the classroom. They transition from whole group instruction at their table to the carpet, in small groups with or without teachers, and work independently all over the classroom.

My students need access to many manipulatives, games, and resources throughout the day to help grasp abstract concepts.

These needs for manipulatives change from week to week as we focus on different standards. Having access to markers, storage bins and crayons throughout the day can become overwhelming for students and teachers, frequently making our classroom feel overly cluttered. Currently, I am preparing to take over a kindergarten classroom moving from 1st Grade and these bags and supplies will help make for an easy and smooth transition.
