This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Vincent Van Gogh, a renowned Dutch painter said, "If any man wishes to write, let him first be clear in his thoughts." So it is with teaching young students to become good writers. My goal is to inspire students to become better writers and future authors. I plan to guide students in reflecting on, clarifying, and writing their thoughts.
These writing process folders will provide aspiring authors a consistent visual of the writing process, revising and editing tips, and pockets in which to track and store each step of their writings.
Students will learn organizational skills and how to follow a procedure.
Students will use Work-in-Progress Folders during their daily center time and be able to have a designated folder to keep unfinished work over the week.
