Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager learners who thrive when provided with the right tools to stay organized and engaged in their learning. As middle schoolers in a Title I school, many of them face challenges outside the classroom, but inside, I strive to create an environment where they can focus, participate, and succeed. With the right materials, they can take ownership of their learning and build strong organizational skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
To help my students, I am requesting essential classroom supplies, including sheet protectors, name tag lanyards, pencil pouches, and binder dividers to help keep them organized and prepared.
These materials will support their learning by preserving important resources, keeping supplies accessible, and helping them categorize their work. By providing these tools, I aim to teach responsibility, time management, and organization—valuable skills that will benefit them in school and beyond.
Having these supplies readily available will allow my students to stay focused on their learning instead of worrying about misplaced papers or supplies. The materials will encourage independence, helping them build strong academic habits. Additionally, these organizational tools will support differentiated instruction by allowing students to maintain clear, structured resources for various subjects.
