Your generosity is helping us create a well-organized, welcoming space where students can explore books, grow their love for reading, and become lifelong learners. With your help, we're turning our classroom into a place where stories come to life and every student can find a book that inspires them. We’re truly grateful! Reading is becoming less popular with kids today, especially with so many distractions from screens and social media. Many of my students come from low-income households and don’t have easy access to books at home. I want to change that by creating an organized and exciting classroom library where students can easily find books that match their interests and reading levels. The specific items in this project—like labeled bins, shelves, and a variety of diverse, high-interest books—will help make reading more accessible and appealing. A clean, inviting space can turn reading into something students look forward to every day.
My goal is to reignite a love for reading in my classroom.
I want students to see reading not as a chore, but as a way to explore new worlds, spark creativity, and gain confidence in themselves. By making our library easier to use and filled with engaging titles, I hope to build strong reading habits that last far beyond the school year.
My students are curious, kind, and resilient. Despite facing challenges outside the classroom, they come to school ready to learn and grow. They deserve a library that reflects their potential and inspires them daily. This project is about more than just books, it’s about opening doors and giving every student the chance to fall in love with reading.
