This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine a classroom with no books? Books unlock learning for children.

I teach 20 wonderful 4th graders.

They are extremely hard workers. Although many of them face obstacles, they always give their best. Our school is a charter school located in Springfield, MA. The students are from all over the city, who care deeply about their education. Their is a vast range of reading abilities from J-V.

My Project

The shelving and book bins will be used to organize my classroom library. Students need the books to be organized by level and genre in order to make them more accessible. By organizing them in this nature, students will more likely be able to locate a just right book for themselves. Therefore, this would encourage and promote a positive reading experience.
