My Project

Our HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) organization at the Great James B. Dudley HS is growing! They want to continue to add volunteer and community service events and activities to their annual work calendar. There are many resources from previous events that need to be organized and stored for future use. These tools and containers can help the HOSA Historian keep everything organized, documented and clean for other events in the future and proof of the event to record. Our new historian has responsibilities which include; seek, gather, and classify all chapter news; keep a cumulative file of clippings, pictures, charts, copies of special programs, etc., and assist in building an "Outstanding "HOSA" Chapter" scrapbook; assist in contacting and acquainting the editors of school and local newspapers with the aims, purposes, and activities of HOSA; assist in planning, collecting, and arranging materials to be used for publicity in various chapter events; see that plaques, "trophies," etc. "following" display are properly stored for safe keeping.

Being able to organize, store and maintain proof of growth is a great way to continue to inspire a student-led organization.

These students are motivated and inspired to do and be better than the year prior. They want to do more in their community which includes helping, teaching and providing support. Having resources readily available in an organized fashion can help these students create remarkable event in their community.
