Organized Supplies Brings More Success in the Classroom & Beyond!

Help me give my students ways to be organized. When classroom supplies are in clearly organized bins, students are more successful and productive.

My Students

My kindergarteners come to school ready and eager to learn every day. They come from various cultural and socio-economical backgrounds in the San Francisco Area. More than half of my student population come from low-income households and are second language learners.

All students are provided with free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch every day.

Our school serves students in grades PreK-5. Our teaching staff and community provide a safe learning environment for students to learn and thrive. We are a small school with a big heart. Everyone knows each other well. This really brings a nice culture within the school.

My Project

Teaching kids to be organized is very important. When supplies are clearly marked and in specific places in the classroom, it provides students success. This project includes various see through bins which will make it easier for students to find supplies quickly. By providing my students with opportunities to be organized in the classroom, it will alleviate stress and conflicts. It will also prepare them for the real world.

Being organized will help strengthen my students for the future and bring success throughout their lives.

This project will reinforce their organizational skills by helping them find what they are looking for and be able to put supplies back to their proper places, correctly. This will increase productivity in the classroom because it will save time and help the classroom run smoother. Organizing is not a inherited trait. But it is key to the overall success for a student both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Therefore, it is essential to introduce them to this skill and continually reinforce it earlier in their lives.
