This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students new storage bins and book boxes to organize their supplies and classroom library materials. After two wonderful years of teaching, much of the storage in our classroom—generously passed down by retiring teachers—has been well-loved, taped, and patched as much as possible. It’s time for a fresh, functional upgrade!

We’re requesting sturdy book bins and cubby bins so that students can keep their materials in order and our classroom can run more smoothly.

Having an organized space is key to helping students manage their own supplies and transition more quickly between activities—giving us more time to focus on learning instead of searching for missing items.

The book bins will also improve access to our class library by making it easier for students to browse and discover their next great read. When students can easily find books that interest them, they’re more likely to develop a love of reading—and that’s a win for everyone!

These bins might seem like small tools, but they make a big difference in creating a calm, efficient, and student-centered classroom. Thank you for helping us stay organized, focused, and ready to learn every day!
