This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students thrive with organization. Having individual book organizers hanging on their chairs, students will be able to easily access books during their DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time which is after recess and lunch. Reading time will be maximized.
My students enjoy reading books!
During DEAR time, students get to select books of their choice. These are books that they choose based on their reading level. They want to use every minute possible because they had the flexibility to handpick the book.
Having books inside the pockets hanging behind their desks would truly help my students take advantage of every reading minute.
