My Students
My students come from all over Maryland, serving the underrepresented and overlooked of Maryland's students. A diverse group of student's with varying needs and abilities. I work closely with students with disabilities and help them achieve growth and move them into college.
My Project
Many students cannot pay for school supplies and teachers request binders as they make organizing papers easier. Many students with disabilities struggle with organization and this will help them keep organized ensuring them to have an easier time in the classroom. Students who are easily distracted use headphones to help keep focused during independent work time. Some students need materials read aloud to them, such as, audiobooks and this allows them to listen to text without distracting or causing unnecessary attention to them. These supplies mainly go to students with disabilities who need further accommodations then your average student.
