My Project

My students are so excited to be at school and learn, but they are young and need to learn organizational skills. I am requesting funding for these chair pockets because they will really help with organization and transitions. Students are able to quickly reach behind them to access notebooks and books that we use every day. This helps the class transition to the next subject quickly so that we don't waste learning time.

These chair pockets also help teach responsibility.

I teach them how to keep their pocket organized and where to store everything. They are responsible for keeping their chair pockets organized so that papers and books can be easily found.

Additionally, these chair pockets really address the problem of long transitions that come with a large class size. Using these eliminates the need for each student to leave their seats to get materials for each subject. They really help with classroom management and keep students engaged.
