This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my Title I kindergarten classroom, many of my students are newcomers adjusting to a new language, culture, and school environment. Organization is a vital part of creating a classroom that supports their success. Chair pockets will provide my students with a designated space to store their materials, keeping everything organized and within reach. This small but impactful tool will help my students transition smoothly between activities, develop responsibility for their belongings, and maximize their learning time. For my newcomer students, the structure and accessibility these chair pockets offer will help them feel more secure and independent as they navigate their new routines. Your support will make a big difference in helping my young learners stay focused, organized, and ready to thrive every day.
