This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a dual-language program where my students are learning in both English and Spanish. They work hard every day to grow academically and bilingually, and I’m so proud of their progress. The pencil boxes, folders, and report covers will help them stay organized and take care of their materials. Diverse books like Latinos Famosos: Ellen Ochoa and The Story of Ruby Bridges will inspire them with powerful role models. Stickers, badge holders, and small prizes will motivate them and reinforce positive behavior. These materials will support their learning, build confidence, and create a joyful classroom environment.
