My Students
My Ohio students are part of a literacy support program that helps struggling readers and writers gain the needed skills and strategies to become confident, independent learners.
Our students are enthusiastic, love to learn, have loads of potential, are diverse in many ways, and have some unique needs that keep me striving for fun and meaningful ways to accelerate their growth in reading and writing.
I thoroughly enjoy helping to foster a love of reading and writing that will benefit them for a lifetime.
My Project
My students have recently returned to school from remote learning to in-person learning.
I am hoping to continue my efforts in creating a neat, clean, and organized learning space where materials can be safely separated as we begin in-person instruction.
In addition to cleaning and washing hands frequently, our best attempt at keeping kids in school is to quarantine books and separate materials. I plan to use these items to keep individual sets of student materials and keep things as clean as possible. Our learning environment needs to meet safety guidelines so we are able to keep kids in school. Remote learning was a struggle for students, teachers, and families. I would like to do my part in helping to keep kids in school.
