My Students
My Ohio students are part of a literacy support program that helps struggling readers and writers gain the needed skills and strategies to become confident, independent learners.
Our students are enthusiastic, love to learn, have loads of potential, are diverse in many ways, and have some unique needs that keep me striving for fun and meaningful ways to accelerate their growth in reading and writing.
I thoroughly enjoy helping to foster a love of reading and writing that will benefit them for a lifetime.
My Project
As we work to practice social distancing and meet all the demands of coming back to school for in-person learning, we need to focus on maintaining a neat, organized space. I would like to be sure that students' materials and books are separated by using the poly envelopes. Each child will have his or her own envelope for books, sight word cards, journals, notes home, etc. I chose clear envelopes so students can easily view materials. The paper organizers will help keep materials organized and neat in our learning space.
