My students are always excited and eager to learn new things. Our classroom consists of a diverse group of students with varying disabilities including ADHD, specific learning disabilities, behavior difficulties, and cognitive delays. I have an inquisitive group of students, who are always eager to work with technology.
They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
My students and families have been trying their absolute best to continue learning at home, but they need materials to support their learning while developing reading and math skills.
It’s so important we continue to address their needs while they are not in the classroom.
My Project
My project will provide organizational skills for my students. Students will use binders to hold their supplies to transport between classes. The dividers will be used to separate each subject and the pouches to hold their pencils and highlighters.
The supplies requested will help my 4th and 5th graders learn organizational skills and how to prioritize their work.
By using the dividers, the students know exactly where their papers for each subject should go. Parents can see what we are learning and use the resources in the binder to help study with their children.
The folders and dividers will be color-coded to assist and allow the students with more practice with their organizational skills.
