Help me give my students headphones with mics so they can record ideas and show their reading skills, help me Zoom with them at home, or with parents, and help them to organize their books with expandable folders.

My Students

The school I work for is a Title I school, in Utah, and has challenges with regard to remote learning, using video in the classroom, collaborative learning, and individual organization.

The third grade classroom I am supporting next school year is going to become a well organized place where students can work independently or collaboratively using technology.

The students love to use technology but lack some important equipment that has become more important with COVID. They also need help with their own personal organization of books and other equipment.

My Project

The headphones will allow students to directly communicate with me by videoing themselves via Chromebooks and Flipgrid, or Screencast, when they are reading or answering questions or even in a Zoom conference with me.The folders will allow them to be organized at school, and would make a good resource if home learning was necessary. The webcam will allow me to Zoom with students from my work computer. The puppet is a fun resource for explaining different learned skills and could be put on video and Flipgrid to keep the students entertained and motivated.
