This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have been lucky to receive books for our classroom library. Now all we need are a few items to help us get our library organized.

One way to help motivate my students to read is to make sure their favorite books are organized and easily obtainable.

These items will do just that. We separate our books by series, and having book bins, carts, and dedicated shelves for each series will help students find and recommend their favorite books.

We also read daily and complete reading summaries. Having the pouches will allow my students to take their books and reading logs to and from school, giving them more access to the reading material.
