My students in Philadelphia are working hard to take a strong step into learning! We work together in a public school where most families are low-income. As a new teacher, I want to provide them with as many opportunities as I am able to to help them discover their passions, learn and grow!

My Project
Because our class desks do not have built-in storage spaces, my students have to travel around the room to gather different materials for lessons including whiteboards, folders, and math textbooks. While this teaches my students to be independent, it also takes time away from our lessons to deal with gathering and cleaning up basic school materials. With these chair bags, our class will be able to spend more time learning and applying our new skills!
