Help me give my students Help me give our classroom better organization for our classroom books! This will help us organize by theme and encourage the interests of our students love for reading!
I love reading and believe it is very important to instill a love for reading in my classroom at an early age! My students love to look at books and love for me to read to them whether it is during large group, small group, or centers. This helps foster learning how to hold a book, answer questions about the story, foster language, encourage discussion about new vocabulary, learning to track print left to right, and pointing to different parts of the book. I love to see my students engaged and having conversations about the books we read throughout the day in our classroom! In my classroom I want to organize my books by theme and have a storage space that is easy for us to find books that we are interested in and learning about in the classroom. The two book shelves I currently have are falling a part and I need something new to store the books on for easy access and helps with organizing by theme.
