This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This school year, I have been blessed with a very enthusiastic bunch of fourth graders who are eager to learn. The only thing that seems to stand in their way is the label of being economically challenged. Not having the proper finances often keeps my students from having proper or sufficient class materials, money for field trips, and sometimes it even prevents them from having the proper reading or class materials to take home to complete assignments.

My scholars deserve the opportunity to be the best they can be in all that they do, no matter their economic or social status.

My Project

The materials in this project will help alleviate the cost and stress of school materials for parents.

Being organized and having the proper materials are important to learning in the classroom.

There are very specific items that students need in 4th grade. This project will help cover the cost and stress of finding these specific items. Students will have materials that will keep them organized and ready to learn each day. Students will start the school year and have them items waiting for them when they come to school.

It will make it so much easier for them to keep all their work organized.
