This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am responsible for educating a class of highly energetic Title I second grade students. I am blessed to have a group of 28 students who love to read, write, and learn in general. These kids come from very diverse backgrounds and deserve the best education I can provide.
Each year, I strive to provide my students with an academically rigorous education that not only is at their level, but helps to push them to the next level.
I have worked extremely hard at providing my classroom with as many learning materials as possible; however, there are a few that we need some assistance obtaining.
My Project
My students need a paper organizer for all of their graded work in order to help keep them organized during the week. This organizer will also make a great job for a student as they will be responsible for putting students completed and graded work into the paper organizer.
The students also need the crayon sharpener because we use our crayons daily and the students are frequently ready to throw them out due to them not being sharp enough.
If we had the sharpener, our crayons would last much longer and we wouldn't be throwing out what looks like a great crayon!
