This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third grade students are eager to continue to learn during remote learning. They are energetic and very curious about everything. They love to express themselves in writing, drawing, coloring, and painting. My students are discovering the world through books and now through technology.
They meet all challenges with a positive attitude and a belief that everything is possible.
My students are primarily English language learners and their primary language is Spanish. I teach in a low-socioeconomic community where resources are limited.
My Project
Practice definitely makes better! The Reusable Write and Wipe Pockets will allow my students to practice the cursive writing skills and math facts while at the same time reducing paper waste.
The Giant classroom timer will be a great tool to keep my students and I on schedule.
My students will know how much time they have on an activity and will be able to pace themselves to complete the assignments. They will learn to work independently while I work with other students.
The Magnetic Write and Wipe Organization Charts will also help with keeping my students organized and informed on the daily class objectives and tasks.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
