This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am responsible for educating a class of highly energetic Title 1 second grade students. I am blessed to have a group of 28 students who love to read, write, and learn in general. These kids come from very diverse backgrounds and deserve the best education I can provide.
Each year, I strive to provide my students with an academically rigorous education that not only is at their level, but helps to push them to the next level.
I have worked extremely hard at providing my classroom with as many learning materials as possible; however, there are a few that we need some assistance obtaining.
My Project
The multi purpose zippered bags and polyester envelopes will help to ensure my students know where their center materials are at all times. This is an essential piece of classroom management and helps with the ease of transitions as well as keeping students on task during center rotations. The fidget bands will be added support for the legs of the chairs which in turn helps my fidgety students. My students sometimes struggle greatly to keep still in their seats and while I have purchased two of these bands, we still need more. They are essential for my students with ADHD who have the need to move around a lot.
