Organized and Empowered: Tools for IEP Success

My Project

As a special education teacher in North Lawndale, I wear many hats to meet the needs of my students with disabilities. One of the most important (and time-consuming) parts of my role is managing and implementing IEPs effectively—this means tracking goals, collecting data, planning accommodations, and collaborating with multiple team members.

To stay organized and ensure every student receives the support they deserve, I’m requesting:

A special education IEP planner to keep track of meetings, progress monitoring, deadlines, and compliance tasks

Teachers Pay Teachers cards to access ready-made, high-quality instructional materials, data trackers, behavior supports, and lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with IEPs

These tools will help me better manage the many moving pieces of special education while freeing up more time to focus on what matters most—direct instruction and meaningful support for my students. Your support will help me stay efficient, compliant, and prepared to give each learner the individualized attention they deserve. Thank you for investing in both teacher success and student growth!
