My Project

I have an amazingly resilient group of students this year. They experienced only a few months of "normal" kindergarten before Covid changed their school career forever. They are fighting to catch up in every way but particularly in the areas of organization and writing.

Each of these items supports their learning in a different way.

These journals give them a guided and organized way to practice their writing skills daily. Notebooks are great but I have noticed my students across the board struggling to organize and use a regular notebook.

I have lots of students who have a hard time staying at their desk all day. They are building work stamina, but sometimes they just need a new spot or comfier seat. These floor chairs give them that opportunity!

Lastly, these math resources will help them with their basic math facts which they need to be fluent in. The large timer allows them to work on time management by visually seeing how much time is left. The math whiteboards will help them focus on the actual skill at hand instead of working to set up the equation.
