My Project
All students learn best in an organized fashion. By having direct access to a binder, they get to start. They will use the binder to hold all of their math needs such as paper, pencils, and expo markers.
Having these tools readily available in my classroom will be a primal start to the rest of their life organization.
I teach them to color code sections to better help their need for organization visually. Using a new color for each of the following things; vocabulary, notes, completed work (ready to hand in), work in progress, returned work. Keeping this and building on the routine of this organization we will directly impact their confidence and readiness in their future! The expo markers are needed to help utilize our whiteboards when working out difficult problems from the curriculum.
