This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us organize our Kino Closet. The Kino Closet is the resource center we have on campus for our kiddos and their families. The Kino Closet was created in 2017 in a closet and has expanded into a full size (free) shopping experience in a space that is more enticing and user friendly!

This year we have expanded our resources to include our local community members and feeder schools.

With these increased efforts to provide essential needs to our students, future students and community we have also increased our donation intake. We are in desperate need of shelving units to functionally utilize 100% of the space we have been given.

Our resource center relies solely on donations. All items in our center (shoes, clothing, food, school supplies, toiletries, household goods, etc) are donations collected from our community members and organizational partners. Thank you for helping making our little space a bit more user friendly!
