My Project
I teach fourth and fifth grade superstars in a Title I school in New York City. My students are eager to learn, energetic, and have a positive outlook on life and learning. I teach students with disabilities that range from learning to behavioral in a self-contained setting. In spite of their many deficits, they always have a positive attitude about getting to work and being stars. My students are hands-on, auditory, and visual learners that need resources readily available to meet them where they academically need.
My Project
It would be extremely helpful to me and my students if you are willing to help provide funding for their basic supplies such as notebooks, folders, and pencils. This will help alleviate the cost to families and will allow me to spend money on different areas in my classroom. It will make sure my students are well prepared and organized for a fresh start to the new school year.
