My Project
My students are truly special because of their resilience, creativity, and unique ways of learning. Each child brings their own strengths and challenges to our resource classroom, and I am constantly inspired by their determination to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. They thrive when given the right support and environment tailored to their needs.
These classroom items will make a real difference in my students’ learning by providing structure, comfort, and tools that promote independence and focus.
File folder organizers will help students keep track of their work and reduce stress caused by disorganization. Lap desks offer flexible seating, allowing students to find comfortable spots that help them stay engaged. The rolling cart makes supplies easy to access, minimizing disruptions and maximizing learning time. Bookshelves will encourage reading by making books more visible and inviting. Lamps will create a calm, warm atmosphere that reduces sensory overload. Timers will support students in managing their time, staying on task, and transitioning smoothly between activities.
My goal with this project is to create a calm, organized, and welcoming resource classroom where every student feels supported and empowered to succeed. By providing these specific tools, I hope to foster greater independence, focus, and confidence in my students.
