Organize & Be Proactive!

Help me give my students some more organization for the art room with portfolios! Not to mention, we go through pencils like tissues in here!

My Project

On a daily basis, just over 100 students come to the art room. What this means for me as a teacher is I have to be super organized in order to be successful. A few years ago, DonorsChoose was able to help me get a shelf organization system for projects and it has been amazing, minus the fact that kids sometimes struggle to find the right shelf. I am hoping that having portfolios to keep their work in will not only help them take good care of their work but keep things from getting lost.

Part 2 of this project is pencils.

I have been teaching for 15 years and have always bought my own pencils for art class(students do not bring them to class). Finally, I thought, hey, this might be a great thing to put out to the DonorsChoose world!
