This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students walk into school every day eager to learn, excited to see what is in store for their day. The students in my classroom are students with learning and emotional disabilities. Our class serves students with a range of disabilities including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbances, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disabilities.

Despite their daily challenges, they are the most amazing group of kids.

These students are kind, caring, and sincere.

We have expanded our library. My students thrive from organization and structure. I need bins to help organize the new section of our library. This is the most important item needed. Other materials in this project are materials that will be used in our expanded library.
