Help me give my students a classroom that is organized with materials that we need to support learning including a 15 drawer organizer cart. markers, easels and more.
The students I teach are an extremely diverse population of children. Our school is home to 501 students and provides most of our children the only stable, safe environment that they have in their lives. 95% of the students are classified as high needs, while 70.5% primarily speak another language other than English.
Despite the disadvantages and hardships these students face in their lives, I've never met a better group of people.
They are positive, come into school ready to learn with a smile on their faces. They lift others up, take responsibility for their learning, and put their best foot forward. I learn from them every day.
Through this project, I hope to give a little back to them, as they give to me each day.
My Project
These materials will give my classroom some organization necessary for learning. The large bins will help organize the teacher materials needed for the day of the school week. The small bins will hold student paper, markers, and supplies needed.
The racks and book-ends will help organize our classroom library so that students can find their levels easily and high-interest books will be displayed.
The paper and markers will help us complete our writing books, science projects, and activities necessary to support our learning across all content areas.
