My Students

I work in extremely high poverty with free lunch and breakfast for all of the students in my school. My students never fail to amaze me. They rise to any challenges; they face and teach me new things every day.

I have a large group of kindergartners ready to blossom as readers, writers, and mathematicians.

School is a fun and safe place for my students, and it is my job to make sure they want to come to my class and have what they need to be successful. I need to make sure my students are safe.

My Project

My students need access to a cart that will be able to keep their tables supplies organized and close by. These rolling carts will contain the students writing folders, handwriting books, supplies and so much more. Instead of having to wait for their folder or notebook to be passed out they will be more responsible to get their own folder from the rolling cart. I am hoping to keep each tables supplies organized in the drawers. This will keep our classroom clean and students from getting too close to others. It will reduce handling the same supplies.

These drawers will hold many things they need throughout the day.

Writing paper, scissors, glue, crayons all at their fingertips. I am excited to have the storage and independence this year in our classroom. We will also be able to have tissues at each table. These table carts will reduce transition time as well.
