This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I use one of the AVID strategies as one way to teach my students to be organized.
I am asking for two items: glue and notebooks.
Students turn their notebooks into a reference guide for math. Students use glue and paste worksheets into their notebooks. They also write important notes in their notebooks. I teach them how to look for answers during a test through the notebook.
Gluing worksheets into their notebooks also prevents students from losing their worksheets.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
