This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning! We are full in-person instruction during the pandemic and although we have to wear face coverings for our safety, each student comes to class filled with joy and perseverance! My classroom consists of students with different learning accommodations/support. The method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.
I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met!
They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have such a great group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each day! Our school is a free public school, and the majority of our students come from low socioeconomic status. In addition, we are a Title I School which means that we provide free meal plans to support our families' needs. My students are determined and spontaneous! They come to class ready to learn with enthusiasm and ready to take upon academic challenges.
My Project
Hello, I am currently teaching a combination class of fourth and fifth grade students. My students are eager and thrilled to learn new things every day. As an upper grade teacher I like to incorporate various STEAM projects to help build a creative environment where students thrive! I noticed that my students need support with organization. In order to support their learning, I would like for students to be able to learn how to be organized as this is a life skill that can support their college bound or career decison.
