This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students know that school is a safe place to learn, create, and be organized. Students need to manipulate materials to cement their learning of math, especially fractions. They also need practice with their multiplication facts in a daily way that is reusable and doesn't waste paper. They also thrive in an environment that is organized, with a place to store their backpacks and other belongings. Finally, they deserve to have their fine work laminated so that it can be displayed in the room and saved for the future, whether it is writing or art.
