My Students

The 7th grade students are a group of diverse individuals with a unique personality. The students come from a variety of racial, social-economic, and cultural backgrounds. My students are wonderful and they mean so much to me. They are in the special education classroom for Math and Language Arts.

I would like to provide them with the best learning environment I can.

My Project

Student at Northeast Middle School use binders to carry their school supplies which now includes a Chromebook. These binders with straps are easier for students to carry especially with the addition of a Chromebook. Many of our students and families don't have the money to spend on these binders. We would like to be able to provide binders to student who need them.

The binders help keep the students' learning materials organized which increases student learning.

We work with students weekly through Advisory lessons on organizing and keeping the binders. We also teach students to use planners.
