Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative and fun 2nd graders who love to learn new things. Most of my students love to ask questions and research answers. As my students progress through the school year, they are trying to learn how to keep their desk and supplies organized in order to minimize learning loss. I am trying to teach my 2nd graders how to keep their supplies and books organized in their small desks. We do not have a lot of space in our small classroom. 30 students trying to keep notebooks and small workbooks organized along with our school supplies and textbooks can be a challenge.

The chair sacks will help my students to organized and keep their notebooks, small workbooks and folders behind their desk chairs within reach.

Having the chair sacks will help students find what they need in one place which will help them get ready for learning and new lessons. Learning organization skills can help my student with school success because it helps with time-management, reduces stress and anxiety, enhances academic performance, increases focus and concentration, and develops life skills. Being organized will give my students an edge beyond academic achievements. The success of any student regardless of ability is enhanced when they can organized their personal learning space.
